Spring is keeping us waiting, but new fashion collections for the season are launching now and it is hard to resist a little bit of shopping. Although timeless fashion is my first priority I tend to refresh it with a few trendy items every season. Because, how many black pair of trousers do I really need? So without further a do, here are few trends I am watching closely for the upcoming Spring.
I trust you would struggle to find a person who has a denim free wardrobe. Same here! What excites me the most that this Spring/Summer has so much to offer. Jeans are changing their shape, and as much as we are used to skinny-fit or straight-cut classics, now we are looking for an upgrade. Also, dresses, tops and jackets are creeping into street style game. Time couldn’t be better, from high end to high street – everyone is giving their denim an update and so will I. Some of my favourite picks are below.
You all will agree with me on this – pastels are an undeniable hit right now and it’s not even Spring yet!!! Lilac, lemon, mint, pistachio, topaz, pink they all come in pastels and we are falling for it. From shoes to bags, from tops to full suits, we just can’t get enough. So if you are planning a little wardrobe update, you won’t get it wrong if your new purchase comes in pastel colour, regardless of what it is.
Started with Chanel shirt that went viral in 2019. Not only for CHA NEL printed on the pocket lapels, but everyone really liked the boxy shape. I did fall for it too, and so much so, that this summer it will be my favourite type. The shirt that not only will update the work wear, it is a fresh addition to the holiday wardrobe! And extra point – when paired with slick black trousers it will makes those legs long long long!
SQUARE TOE SHOES
I appreciate the fact that not everyone is behind this idea yet, but fingers crossed we will all catch up with this trend at some point. They are making come back from 1990s and early 2000s and I am here for it. Introduced on the spring 2019 catwalks in the form of glorious ruler-edged pumps by Bottega Veneta they seem to came just in time. I was craving for something new, since pointy toes have been around for ages, and here they are.
