Have you noticed that the standard office outfit has been swapped for a silk slip instead? Pretty much every high street retailer has it’s own version and they are selling fast! So grab onto it tight if you find one! If you feel like going for a proper silk rather than satin slips I found L’agence to be a perfect choice. And if I find more they will appear on my SS19 Wishlist for sure! (So keep an eye on it or follow my stories in order not to miss an update)
It is clear that the silk slip is here to stay, for this summer at least. The best thing about it that it’ll go with nearly every top layer from your closet. From blazers and knits to the crisp white shirt (the bigger, the better) and even silky slip camisole. Why not to go double on silks? Oh, And don’t forget a pair of strappy sandals which are an absolute must haves and again will compliment any outfit. Especially if you will choose them in neutral colour.
I paired my slip skirt with the white oversized shirt, strappy sandals and completed the look with my favourite bag. I am a strong believer in simple outfits, since they are so easy to master by anyone. My outfit literally consists of 4 elements only. Because who has time to layer up in summer anyway?!
